Medical Lead (Oncology)

About the role

The Medical Lead (Oncology) is a senior Medical Affairs position responsible for shaping and executing patient‑focused medical strategies within the oncology therapeutic area. Reporting to the Medical Affairs function, the role combines scientific expertise with field‑based activities to drive evidence generation, stakeholder engagement, and the dissemination of accurate medical information.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner, providing medical insights and expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead the planning and execution of all medical activities, ensuring scientific integrity for both promotional and non‑promotional communications.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations on interventional trials, supporting site selection, feasibility, patient recruitment, and scientific communication of results.
• Identify research gaps, develop and manage non‑interventional studies and real‑world data/evidence projects, from protocol design to publication.
• Maintain the accuracy of scientific data shared internally and externally, and serve as the medical responsible for the team in the field.

Required profile

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Dentistry.
• Experience in oncology, preferably lung cancer, within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.
• Strategic thinking, growth mindset, and strong stakeholder‑management capabilities.
