Medical Science Liaison – Rare Hematology & Nephrology

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will support scientific and medical activities for recently launched rare hematology and nephrology products. The role focuses on building relationships with key opinion leaders, delivering medical education, and providing scientific support to sales and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular KOL visits (virtual and face‑to‑face) and organize hospital medical education meetings for new products.
• Provide medical support to the sales team, deliver Phase I trainings, and assist in marketing and sales training programs.
• Develop and maintain KOL and opinion‑leader mapping for aHUS and PNH, and support the associate medical director in KOL engagement.
• Prepare and deliver scientific presentations, support physicians with abstracts, publications, and educational materials.
• Handle medical information requests, ensure compliance with SOPs, legal, regulatory, and ABAC guidelines.
• Report pharmacovigilance events and product quality complaints within 24 hours.
• Contribute to life‑cycle management, strategic planning, and MAP development based on field insights.
• Participate in local scientific meetings and national congresses, and assist with reimbursement dossier preparation when needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Background in hematology and/or nephrology is preferred.
• Strong ability to present scientific data and evaluate medical literature.
• Knowledge of local pharmaceutical regulations, code of conduct, and ABAC rules.
• Experience with pharmaceutical quality systems (GxP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Effective cross‑functional communication and teamwork skills.
