Medical Science Liaison - Vaccines

About the role

GSK is looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) based in Turkey, covering its vaccines therapeutic area. The MSL builds relationships with medical experts and community physicians, gathers insight, reviews the pipeline with healthcare professionals (HCPs), identifies investigators and sites for clinical trials and supports trial recruitment. The role is field-based with a hybrid approach, with travel across the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Engage the external community in scientific dialogue that generates insight and advances understanding of vaccines and related products.
• Hold introductory meetings with HCPs, agree on interaction frequency and tailor information to their needs.
• Contribute insights to Medical Affairs strategies and plans that define the value of vaccines and products.
• Maintain a compliant, supportive partnership with the sales team and other commercial counterparts.
• Attend scientific seminars, congresses and courses, and give regular updates on insights and opportunities.
• Track external-facing activity measures, including HCP feedback, and report spontaneous and clinical trial adverse events related to GSK products.

Required profile

• University degree in medicine (MD) or pharmacy.
• Previous experience as an MSL, Medical Advisor or Medical Manager (vaccines, cardiology or endocrinology).
• Fluent Turkish and very good command of written and spoken English.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical ethics, governance and compliance policies.
• Preferred: advanced degree, prior MSL experience, experience in respiratory, infectious diseases, hepatology, oncology or immunology, and familiarity with the Turkish healthcare system.
