About the role
The Merchandising Manager leads local and regional execution of Kiabi's procurement strategy, ensuring collection needs are met through effective supplier allocation, price negotiation and quality control.
Key responsibilities
- Decide supplier allocation locally based on procurement strategy and manage product development up to order confirmation.
- Negotiate final prices, monitor capacity bookings, lead buying trips, and handle claims with vendors.
- Visit suppliers regularly, source new suppliers, and provide market intelligence on innovative products and fabrics.
- Develop and enforce fair business behavior, social compliance and environmental priorities.
Required profile
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in merchandising or sourcing.
- Fluent in English and Turkish, both oral and written.
- Higher Diploma in Textile or university graduate.
Required skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing and problem solving.
