Multi‑Skilled Building Maintenance Technician

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. The role supports the Engineering and Technical Services function.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of building systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations and report violations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry loads of 50 lb or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills for straightforward information exchange.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
