Network and Cyber-Security Administrator

About the role

The Network and Cyber‑Security Administrator will join Siemens Smart Infrastructure’s Grid Software division, supporting the Grid Control Engineering group. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining secure industrial network architectures for energy automation and smart‑grid products.

Key responsibilities

• Design secure industrial network architectures in line with standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, NIS2 and EPDK.
• Develop, implement and maintain system security administration across operating systems, applications and network security devices.
• Define, deploy and sustain OT‑specific cybersecurity solutions, including endpoint, application and device control.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications and reports; conduct site visits and deliver cybersecurity training.
• Lead and support cybersecurity projects through FAT, SAT and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical‑Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network and cyber‑security administration.
• Strong knowledge of complex IT systems, networking protocols, OS hardening and network monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux, Unix and Windows in enterprise environments.
• Professional proficiency in English; German is a plus.
