On‑Site IT Specialist for Industrial Project

About the role

Técnicas Reunidas is seeking a proactive on‑site IT Specialist to support a large‑scale polypropylene plant in Ceyhan, Adana. The role involves first‑level technical support for project personnel, subcontractors and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level IT support on‑site, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, audiovisual devices and telecom equipment.
• Perform urgent software installations, updates, patching and ensure compliance with corporate IT policies.
• Monitor local network performance, manage user access rights and maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of IT assets.
• Document support activities, configurations and procedures for handover.

Required profile

• Degree or vocational training in IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in construction or industrial sites.
• Full‑time physical availability on‑site and ability to adapt to project dynamics.
• High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Hands‑on hardware setup and troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, audiovisual equipment).
• Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, cabling).
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and common enterprise applications.
• Experience with software installation, patch management and remote access tools.
