Operator – Tool Shop Production

About the role

The company is seeking operators for the Tool Shop department to perform polishing, grinding, sanding and polishing operations on mould parts according to technical drawings and quality instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute polishing, grinding, sanding and polishing processes on mould components, ensuring surface roughness (Ra, Rz) meets specified tolerances.
• Prepare parts for mould assembly by cleaning and ensuring they are free of burrs and surface defects.
• Select and use appropriate chemical and mechanical materials (sandpaper, diamond paste, felt, polishing stones, etc.) during polishing.
• Follow occupational safety rules and wear personal protective equipment such as goggles, gloves and masks.
• Detect surface defects (scratches, dents, burns) and report them to the supervisor.
• Perform surface hardness checks and post‑coating polishing when required.
• Maintain, clean and organize hand tools and equipment, and keep the work area tidy after each task.

Required profile

• Graduated from a vocational high school or higher.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of technical drawings.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Resides in or can relocate to Istanbul European side.
• Male candidates must have no military service obligations.
