Part-Time Working Student - Software Developer

About the role

Siemens Turkey R&D is looking for a part-time working student to join its software development team. The role covers software design, implementation, testing and release tasks for crane projects, within a multi-site, international team. It suits a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student who wants to follow a software engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Software design and implementation for crane projects
• Unit tests and automated UI tests
• Debugging and release tasks
• Working in a multi-site, international software development team

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student in Computer Engineering
• Willingness to follow a software engineering career path
• Very good command of English
• Availability of at least 2.5 days per week, partly remote
• Eagerness to learn industrial automation know-how and Siemens-specific technologies

Required skills

• Any programming language knowledge is a plus
• Web application development knowledge is a plus
