Partnerships and Business Development Associate

About the role

Kutuby is an EdTech company building an interactive Arabic and Islamic learning app for children, aiming to make such learning more accessible, engaging and part of everyday life. It wants to expand its reach by partnering with charities, foundations and schools so more children can access quality Arabic and Islamic education. The company is looking for a proactive, personable Partnerships & Business Development Associate to build and secure meaningful partnerships, working closely with the CEO on clear quarterly objectives and measurable targets.

Key responsibilities

• Work mainly with charities and foundations to sponsor children's access to Kutuby
• Generate leads, prepare and deliver presentations about Kutuby's offerings
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and pipeline status
• Support outreach to schools introducing Kutuby into educational settings

Required profile

• Relevant experience in business development, partnerships, sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in education or edtech
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities

Required skills

• Strong presentation skills, including creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiences
• Lead generation: prospecting, qualifying leads and managing a partnership pipeline
• Market research: analysing trends, identifying potential partners and assessing new opportunities
• Clear written and verbal communication for outreach, negotiations and internal collaboration
• Comfort with productivity and CRM tools, and basic proficiency in online presentation platforms
