About the role
Join Bureau Veritas in Istanbul as a Plan Approval Surveyor focusing on stability operations for marine vessels. You will review stability documents, freeboard and tonnage calculations and provide technical advice to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Review marine stability documents, freeboard and tonnage calculations in line with applicable rules and regulations.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Support the Equipment & Material Certification and Consultancy Services teams with drawing reviews, inspections and consultancy work.
- Participate in internal and external meetings and attend scheduled trainings.
Required profile
- Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine/Ocean Engineering.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of relevant experience in shipyards, design companies or maritime design review.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Team player with a sense of responsibility.
