Planning Specialist – Logistics & Project Coordination

About the role

We are looking for a Planning Specialist to manage the flow of project parts from suppliers to our plants, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effective transportation. The role supports customer demand by coordinating with local, overseas and European suppliers and by mitigating launch‑date risks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new project parts processes to meet customer demand and ensure delivery to plants.
• Monitor daily supplier part status across local, overseas and European sources to minimise launch‑date risks and reduce air‑freight costs.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm timely, sufficient deliveries to the appropriate plant.
• Determine short‑term and long‑term mode of transport, optimising budget together with related departments.
• Provide daily logistics updates to customers.
• Conduct risk and root‑cause analyses, develop precautionary and emergency plans.
• Prepare reports identifying problem origins and propose optimal solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong organisational, follow‑up and planning capabilities.
• High customer focus, teamwork spirit and problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with drawing tools (e.g., CAD) – considered an asset.
