Presales Enterprise Segment Engineer

About the role

The Presales Enterprise Segment Engineer will act as the primary technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers, driving the technical success of networking opportunities across HPE's portfolio. This hybrid role requires working on average two days per week from an HPE office in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customer technical decision‑makers, architects, and engineers to understand business objectives and technology strategies.
• Design end‑to‑end enterprise networking architectures covering wired, wireless, campus, data‑center, routing, security, automation and management.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution validation, PoC execution and RFP/RFI responses.
• Collaborate with HPE product specialists, engineering, professional services and channel partners to deliver complete, supportable solutions.

Required profile

• Strong enterprise networking experience, preferably in presales, systems engineering or senior network engineering.
• Proven ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into complete solution architectures.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers and multiple technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated independence, technical ownership and professional judgment.

Required skills

• Enterprise LAN and WLAN technologies (switching, Wi‑Fi, routing, resiliency, segmentation, security, automation, network management).
• Solution architecture and design for large‑scale, mission‑critical environments.
• Technical sales activities: discovery, account planning, presentations, demonstrations, PoCs, RFP/RFI responses.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
