Presales Infrastructure Solution Architect

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Infrastructure & ITSM Solutions Architect bridges sales and technical delivery, working with Account Executives to advise C‑level clients on enterprise‑grade infrastructure and IT service management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with CIOs, CTOs and IT Directors to identify pain points across cloud, data‑center and ITSM workflows.
• Design end‑to‑end reference architectures that combine hybrid cloud, on‑premises data centres and leading ITSM/ESM platforms such as ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira Service Management and BMC Helix.
• Own the technical narrative for RFIs, RFPs, Statements of Work and Proof‑of‑Concepts, creating pricing models, license calculations and ROI/TCO business cases.
• Collaborate with post‑sales delivery teams to ensure project feasibility, profit‑margin alignment and smooth hand‑off to implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in pre‑sales engineering, solution architecture or technical consulting within enterprise IT environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to position enterprise software/infrastructure value and calculate margins.
• Excellent executive communication skills, including presentation, workshop facilitation and storytelling for both technical and finance audiences.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ITSM/ESM platforms: ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira Service Management, BMC Helix.
• Expertise in public and hybrid cloud environments: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of data‑center virtualization, networking and basic cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency with ITIL frameworks, CMDB design and service‑desk automation.
