Process Safety Executive – Process Safety Specialist

About the role

The Process Safety Executive supports the implementation of Diageo’s Process Safety standards at the Tarsus site, ensuring hazards are identified and risks are controlled. The role works closely with production, maintenance and engineering teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HAZOP, LOPA and other risk assessment studies, defining actions and tracking completion.
• Support Management of Change (MOC), Pre‑Start‑Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and ensure safe work practices are applied to projects.
• Maintain and verify process safety information, review procedures, permit‑to‑work systems and contribute to audit readiness.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Process Safety, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance or HSE, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• HAZOP, LOPA, PHA risk assessment methodologies.
• Management of Change (MOC) and Pre‑Start‑Up Safety Review (PSSR) processes.
• Permit‑to‑work systems and reading technical documentation such as P&IDs.
