Process Specialist – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

You will support daily production activities, solve process‑related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives within Novartis’ regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shift production team, ensuring safe, efficient execution in line with GMP, SOPs and HSE guidelines.
• Provide frontline technical support for new product introductions, process changes and deviation management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective actions, support audits and maintain documentation quality.
• Monitor staffing, break planning, absence management and produce shift reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
• Technical education or equivalent industrial manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts with diverse teams and fluency in English (documentation) and Turkish.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality systems knowledge.
• 5S, Lean Production, Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing systems: WERUM PAS‑X MES, SAP S/4HANA, OPTEL serialization and AGE aggregation.
• Data analytics and digital skills.
• General HSE knowledge.
