Procurement Excellence Senior Manager

About the role

SunExpress is seeking a Procurement Excellence Senior Manager to lead its transactional purchasing function. You will be responsible for driving efficient order placement, expediting, and overall procurement performance across the airline’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams performing transactional purchasing, ensuring timely order placement and expediting.
• Develop, maintain and improve procurement processes, procedures and systems (eRFX, category and supplier management).
• Identify training needs, create and manage a procurement training and development plan.
• Manage team performance against KPIs, establish and maintain SLAs with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain the annual delivery and business plan, support budgeting and produce regular performance reports.
• Act as escalation point for purchase‑to‑pay queries and supplier invoice/payment issues.
• Review and approve high‑value orders, advise on optimal transactional processes.
• Measure, monitor and report functional performance, drive savings and data‑based process improvements.
• Enforce compliance with procurement policies, coach team members on sourcing exercises, and represent the procurement function internally and externally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or Economics.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience across a broad range of roles.
