Procurement & Logistics Responsible

About the role

Harmony Marine Solutions, a shipbuilding and construction engineering and architectural coordination company based in Istanbul, is hiring a full-time, on-site Procurement & Logistics Responsible in Kartal. The role covers the whole procurement cycle, supplier relations, international purchasing, logistics, import/export and customs clearance, working closely with project management, production, finance, suppliers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement: supplier sourcing, quotations, commercial evaluation, contract negotiation and purchase orders.
• Evaluate, qualify and monitor suppliers, and develop alternative sourcing options.
• Coordinate domestic and international purchasing, logistics, import/export, customs clearance and transportation.
• Follow up purchase orders, confirmations, proforma invoices and delivery schedules through the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, foreign trade requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor stock, invoices, procurement costs and payments, and report regularly to management.
• Maintain procurement and logistics records and support continuous improvement within the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, import/export or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of international purchasing, supplier management, import/export, customs procedures and Incoterms.
• Fluent written and spoken English; valid driver's licence and active driving experience.
• Located in Kartal/Istanbul or nearby regions.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Negotiation, analytical thinking, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage several priorities and work independently.
