Procurement Specialist – Food

About the role

Alshaya Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage food purchasing operations for its well‑known brands such as Starbucks, Pinkberry and Shake Shack in Turkey. The role involves cost tracking, budgeting, and close collaboration with brand teams both locally and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Manage food purchasing operations for Alshaya’s food brands.
• Track product costs, manage budgets and cash flow.
• Coordinate strategic communication and planning with brand teams in Turkey and overseas.
• Analyze and improve supplier production, ordering and delivery processes.
• Research, evaluate and develop alternative products and suppliers.
• Follow standard and seasonal product planning and enhance performance.
• Develop savings projects and long‑term growth plans aligned with company vision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in food purchasing within the retail sector.
• Proficient in English with strong analytical, persuasion, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Solution‑oriented, commercial mindset and capable of teamwork.
• High optimisation and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• English language proficiency.
