Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist at Çelebi Hava Servisi, you will lead purchasing activities for one of Turkey's largest ground‑handling operations. You will work with both domestic and international suppliers, shaping the way the company buys equipment, spare parts, IT hardware, and service contracts that keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement for ground handling and cargo equipment, technical spare parts, IT hardware, fleet and operational vehicles.
• Run service procurement for catering, cleaning, maintenance contracts, personnel transportation and security.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, develop strategic relationships and evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost and delivery.
• Design purchasing strategies that deliver measurable cost optimisation.
• Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies, industry standards and legal requirements.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical approach and ability to turn data into clear reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working style.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP MM module (preferred).
