Product Promotion Specialist – Oncology (6-month fixed term)

About the role

AstraZeneca Turkey Oncology Business Unit is looking for a Product Promotion Specialist in oncology for a fixed-term assignment of 6 months in Istanbul (Anatolia). The specialist carries out scientific promotion activities for healthcare professionals, sharing medical information about approved products and supporting key units with innovative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scientific promotion activities for healthcare professionals and share the necessary medical information
• Promote products within their officially approved indications and raise awareness among healthcare professionals
• Develop innovative projects for key units
• Apply promotion techniques during doctor and pharmacy visits through activities such as Doctor Group Activities, Pharmacy Group Activities, product information dinners, shift presentations, e-promotion and sample distribution
• Inform pharmacies about promotion campaigns and track product consumption and stock levels
• Represent AstraZeneca on the relevant platforms according to the defined goals and strategies

Required profile

• University graduate with a degree in a science faculty, or experience in oncology in the pharmaceutical industry
• Good level of medical knowledge
• Category B driving licence and ability to drive safely
• No travel disability and completed military service (for male candidates)
• Right to obtain the ÜTT qualification certificate and individual barcode under the 2015 Regulation on Promotion of Human Medicines, and living in Istanbul's Anatolian side
