Production Engineer – Dishwasher Plant

About the role

Koç is looking for a Production Engineer to join the Mechanical & Paintshop Team at its Dishwasher Plant in Ankara. The engineer supports production according to the daily plan and contributes to efficiency, quality and safety improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support production in line with the daily production plan
• Validate new product references on the press lines
• Identify bottleneck zones and request program changes
• Study quality and cost-reduction projects and take part in energy-saving projects
• Reduce overtime periods and support work safety studies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's or doctorate is a plus
• Experience in production technologies, project management and quality and efficiency improvement projects
• Experience managing and implementing energy projects
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 standards
• Ability to solve production and quality problems with 6 Sigma and other tools
• Excellent English verbal and written skills

Required skills

• Sheet metal production techniques (cut-to-length, deep drawing, cutting, forming, bending) and die design and revision
• Hydraulic and transfer presses and their feeding systems
• Reading pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Maintenance and project leadership
• Microsoft Office programs and Siemens NX
