Production Engineer – Mechanical & Paintshop

About the role

Beko is looking for a Production Engineer to join the Mechanical & Paintshop team at its dishwasher plant in Ankara. The role supports daily manufacturing operations, drives continuous improvement, and ensures safety and sustainability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support production according to the daily production plan.
• Validate new product references on press lines.
• Identify bottleneck zones and request program changes.
• Study and implement quality and cost‑reduction projects.
• Participate in energy‑saving initiatives and reduce overtime.
• Support work‑safety studies and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s/Doctorate a plus).
• Experience with production technologies and project management.
• Proven track record in quality and efficiency improvement projects.
• Knowledge of sheet‑metal production techniques, die design, and press systems.
• Ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Experience managing energy‑related projects and familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills using Six Sigma or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
