Production Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

You will ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation while meeting customer requirements, supervising technicians and driving HSE, production and maintenance plans.

Key responsibilities

• Issue safe work permits, lead safety culture, and ensure compliance with GMP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and Seveso regulations.
• Maintain process risk reduction measures, including Instrumented Safety Protection Loops (EIS‑SPL) and Pressure Relief Devices (PRD).
• Monitor daily plant operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and compile production performance reports.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, prioritize safety‑related tasks, and ensure critical safety equipment is operational.
• Manage alarm monitoring, on‑call schedules, and energy efficiency through the EMS and ISO 50001 system.
• Handle purchase orders, goods receipt, quality control and budget alignment for production and maintenance needs.
• Supervise subcontractors, verify driver competencies, and oversee facility security and housekeeping.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of industrial experience, ideally in industrial gases.
• Full proficiency in Turkish and English.
• Strong HSE knowledge with hands‑on experience in JHA, SWP, LOTO, RCA and site visits.
• Deep understanding of process risk management and core engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Just Culture principles and safety‑factor concepts.
• Proven team‑leadership and safety‑leadership abilities.
