Project Engineer (M/W) – V.I.E Contract

About the role

Lesaffre is looking for a Project Engineer to support the Engineering Project Manager on the AMASIS project in Turkey. This V.I.E position offers a unique intercultural experience in Amasya, combining hands‑on engineering work with exposure to a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce technical documents, including specifications and terms of reference.
• Check supplier tenders for technical compliance with specifications.
• Review subcontractor plans and verify alignment with process diagrams (PFDs, PIDs).
• Monitor on‑site contractors regarding technical, equipment, health‑safety and scheduling aspects.
• Analyse deviations, report findings and support hand‑over procedures.
• Participate in commissioning activities alongside suppliers and production teams.
• Update the project’s technical file with as‑built plans and supplier documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate of an engineering school (Arts & Métiers or equivalent).
• Initial experience in a design office, project management or industrial site supervision.
• Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural setting, showing initiative and team spirit.
• Fluent in English; Turkish language skills are a plus.
