Project Finance Executive

About the role

Polat Energy is seeking a Project Finance Executive to manage loan and security agreement documentation, monitor financing covenants, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for its renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage documentation, review, and evaluation processes for loan and security agreements from negotiation to execution, working closely with Legal and external counsel.
• Monitor payments, track cash and non‑cash credit facility limits, and maintain up‑to‑date financial tracking reports.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, negotiate supplemental security agreements, and handle notifications to third parties.
• Coordinate cross‑functional reviews, support financial close, and manage ongoing financing activities.
• Act as the primary contact for lenders, advisors, and third parties, providing financial information and coordinating with Legal, Technical, Business Development, Treasury, and Accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Project Finance, preferably in the energy sector or bank project finance departments.
• Strong conceptual, strategic, and analytical thinking skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of loan agreements, security agreements, and banking processes related to investment financing.
• Financial modeling expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
