About the role
AXA Türkiye is seeking a Property & Engineering Underwriting Specialist (Assistant) to support its fire insurance line. The role focuses on evaluating property and engineering risks, preparing underwriting proposals, and ensuring accurate policy documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Assess fire‑related property and engineering risks and determine appropriate coverage.
- Prepare and review underwriting files, ensuring compliance with AXA standards.
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to gather necessary information for risk evaluation.
- Produce regular reports on underwriting activities and portfolio performance.
- Support senior underwriters in pricing decisions and policy issuance.
Required profile
- Graduate in Insurance, Engineering, or Actuarial Science.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the fire insurance line.
- Strong command of English.
- Dynamic, results‑oriented attitude with a willingness to develop professionally.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong reporting and analytical abilities.
