Public Relations Executive

About the role

Merzigo is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Executive to lead its corporate communications and PR strategy. The role will shape the company’s external narrative, build strong media relationships, and enhance brand reputation across the video‑monetisation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute corporate communications and public relations programmes.
• Manage relationships with local and international media, agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Draft press releases, corporate announcements and other communication materials.
• Coordinate PR initiatives and projects to boost brand awareness and corporate reputation.
• Monitor digital‑media, content and broadcasting trends to identify communication opportunities.
• Organise communication activities for corporate events, product launches and industry conferences.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to support communication campaigns.
• Track media coverage and produce regular reports on PR performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media, Journalism or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in corporate communications, public relations or brand communications.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Proven track record in media relations, press‑release writing and corporate communications.
• Strong understanding of digital media, social media and content ecosystems.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
