Public/Defense Sector Account Manager

About the role

H3C is looking for a motivated, results-driven Public/Defense Sector Account Manager to join its growing team in Turkey. You will manage and develop strategic relationships with public and defense sector customers, identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth across your assigned accounts. You will work closely with internal sales, pre-sales, post-sales and partner teams to build account plans, position H3C solutions and deliver proposals that meet customer needs. The role reports to the Public Sales Director in Ankara.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with public/defense customers and partners, including key decision-makers, to build a qualified sales pipeline.
• Achieve assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Identify, develop and manage strategic sales opportunities across assigned accounts.
• Understand customer needs, build trust and position H3C solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop new business through direct engagement, account planning and relationship management.
• Work with pre-sales, post-sales and partner teams on customer-specific solutions and key projects.
• Coordinate presentations, RFI/RFP responses and commercial proposals.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competition to spot new opportunities.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience in public/defense sector or defense sales, preferably in ICT, networking, IT infrastructure or technology.
• Proven experience in direct customer engagement, partner management and business development.
• Established relationships with public/defense customers or decision-makers in Turkey.
• Experience with system integrators, channel partners and other stakeholders in public/defense projects.
• Familiarity with public procurement, tenders and RFI/RFP procedures.
• Working proficiency in English; CV must be uploaded in English.
