Purchasing Executive

About the role

Umur Etiket is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage the procurement of raw materials, spare parts, consumables and services, supporting production and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock levels, identify critical shortages and plan material requirements.
• Prepare raw material forecasts and purchasing plans aligned with production needs.
• Enter and maintain up‑to‑date cost data in the Matbaa Soft pricing system.
• Manage purchasing processes for raw materials, spare parts, consumables and services.
• Negotiate prices, lead times, payment terms and other commercial conditions with existing and potential suppliers.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of purchase orders in SAP and monitor related processes.
• Research, evaluate and develop alternative suppliers to guarantee supply continuity.
• Analyze raw material costs, purchase prices and consumption data, and present regular reports to management.
• Balance cost, quality, lead time and inventory levels throughout the purchasing cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6–10 years of experience in raw material or auxiliary material purchasing within the label or packaging industry.
• Strong analytical, reporting, presentation, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Highly motivated, results‑oriented and a strong team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
