About the role
P&G spends more than $40 billion a year on goods and services to produce consumer products, and Strategic Purchases controls spend on raw and packaging materials, equipment, marketing services, software and outsourced manufacturing. As a Purchasing Manager for new graduates, you will be the commercial leader of supply-chain and strategic sourcing activities, handling P&G's expenditure and working with suppliers. The position is full-time and based in the Istanbul General Office.
Key responsibilities
- Build extensive market knowledge and a deep understanding of the assigned industry.
- Develop sourcing strategies that increase the innovation pipeline, drive cost savings and influence suppliers to transform.
- Negotiate best-value deals with suppliers to meet the company's business needs.
- Work as an active member of cross-functional business teams.
Required profile
- University degree obtained in 2027 or recently graduated.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to drive innovation and brand growth.
