Purchasing Specialist

About the role

ZSR is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support its high‑technology solutions for defence, law‑enforcement and infrastructure customers worldwide. The role is based in Balikesir and focuses on managing the full procurement cycle, from request to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and confirm internal purchase requests.
• Conduct market and supplier research to identify optimal sources.
• Negotiate offers and manage cost‑optimization processes.
• Prepare periodic reports on cost analysis, purchasing performance and supply‑chain metrics.
• Verify and confirm purchase invoices.
• Track delivery of purchased materials to the appropriate departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Metallurgical or Materials preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, both domestic and abroad.
• At least 3 years of experience in import operations.
• Familiarity with budget management, market research and negotiation.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Turkish and English.
• Willingness to reside in Balikesir.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
