Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will manage the full procurement cycle, ensuring that the company obtains the right goods and services at the best possible cost and quality. This role works closely with internal departments and external suppliers to support the organization’s operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collect purchase requests, obtain quotations, evaluate offers, place orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Control invoices and ensure accurate payment processing.
• Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives and improve procurement efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee timely fulfillment of purchasing needs.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP systems and monitor supplier performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and cost analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented team player with good organizational skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using SAP (or similar ERP) systems.
