Purchasing Specialist (Spare Parts & E-Purchasing)

About the role

Çimsa is looking for a Purchasing Specialist (Spare Parts & E-Purchasing). You will handle procurement requests for spare parts and other resources, manage the request-to-order process, place orders and follow up deliveries, and support supplier and cost optimisation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research for procurement requests for consumables
• Follow up procurement requests and manage the request-to-order process
• Gather quotations and monitor the approval process
• Place orders for the required resources and follow up the delivery process
• Monitor market developments and report current market insights
• Manage smart procurement platforms and support digital procurement tools
• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier performance management processes
• Support cost optimisation initiatives within the purchasing process
• Hold regular supplier meetings and maintain supplier relationships

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of work experience in any field
• Strong analytical, reasoning and reporting skills with a questioning approach to business processes
• Advanced planning, coordination and time management skills
• Proficiency in English
• Holder of a Class B driver's licence
• Residing in Istanbul, Mersin, Eskişehir or Afyon
