Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support our plant’s quality systems and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work closely with business unit Quality Leads to ensure product compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor end‑to‑end quality controls for incoming, in‑process and final inspection, including development of Quality Plans, FMEAs, SOPs and application of Statistical Process Control.
• Conduct regular process audits, manage corrective actions and oversee scrap, waste and rework analysis with root‑cause investigations.
• Handle non‑conforming material, coordinate supplier CAPA actions and manage quarantine processes.
• Lead customer complaint investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis, support customer audits and on‑site visits.
• Support product feasibility studies, sample creation, technical specifications and maintain ERP master data, BOMs and Engineering Change Orders.
• Maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, prepare for internal and external audits and ensure EHS compliance.
• Drive Kaizen projects, track departmental KPIs, prepare performance reports and provide quality training to production staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
• Minimum 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• ISO 9001:2015, FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys, Lean/Kaizen methodologies.
• ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and data‑management software.
