Quality Manager

About the role

PAGYSA, a leading Turkish exporter of agricultural products, seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead its quality and food safety functions at the Ahmetli facility in Manisa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and control across the value chain, from suppliers to finished products.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve Quality and Food Safety Management Systems (BRCGS, IFS, HACCP).
• Ensure compliance with food legislation, customer requirements and international standards.
• Coordinate customer visits, certifications, internal and external audits and manage audit findings.
• Handle customer complaints, product non‑conformities and drive root‑cause analysis, CAPA and effectiveness reviews.
• Develop and maintain product and process quality control plans, specifications and documentation.
• Lead and develop the Quality Control team, overseeing daily activities and performance.
• Monitor quality KPIs, report risks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of quality assurance/management experience in the food industry.
• Proven experience with BRCGS, IFS, HACCP and food safety management systems.
• Hands‑on experience with customer, certification, internal and supplier audits.
• Strong knowledge of food legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
