R&D Mechanical Engineer – International Aftermarket Services

About the role

Eaton is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its International Aftermarket Services R&D team in Sincan, Ankara. The role focuses on creating retrofit solutions for low‑voltage and medium‑voltage systems, supporting the company’s sustainability and electrification goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop standardized mechanical retrofit design solutions for aftermarket LV and MV systems.
• Define technical specifications and generate concept design options.
• Validate design concepts through engineering calculations and simulations.
• Perform detailed mechanical design and prepare final design documentation.
• Participate in laboratory testing and certification activities.
• Release finalized and certified designs for production.
• Collaborate with the EMEA Services organization and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with experience in product design.
• Familiarity with low‑voltage and medium‑voltage equipment.
• Ability to work on R&D projects that have sales impact ranging from €100K to €2M.
• Strong analytical skills for calculations and simulations.
• Willingness to work onsite in Ankara and engage with laboratory testing.
