R&D Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an R&D Platform Engineer to join TEMSA’s research centre in Adana. The role focuses on feasibility studies, early‑phase analysis and coordination of cross‑functional projects for new bus platforms and upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Perform feasibility assessments and early‑phase analyses for new projects and change requests.
• Plan and track design, testing, verification, and serialization activities.
• Monitor progress, highlight deviations, and support corrective actions.
• Assist with cost tracking, budget alignment, and cost deviation visibility.
• Manage option request releases and ensure cross‑functional integration.
• Coordinate after‑sales project activities and maintain proper documentation flow.
• Work closely with field teams, suppliers, and contractors to track progress and compliance.
• Prepare concise reports on timing, risks, issues, and cost, and communicate updates clearly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of project or cross‑functional experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills.
• Basic understanding of project management methods; Agile knowledge preferred.
• Ability to coordinate field teams and contractor activities.
• No travel restrictions and a valid driving licence.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI or programming knowledge is a plus.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Adana.
