Reservation Agent

About the role

The Reservation Agent provides professional, friendly, and engaging telephone service for guests and internal teams at Fairmont Quasar Istanbul. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, process reservation requests, and act as a liaison for guest inquiries across all hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and redirect external and internal calls, ensuring a courteous experience.
• Take ownership of each caller’s request and follow up according to hotel standards.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering to provide accurate information.
• Operate and monitor the hotel reservation software system.
• Distribute faxes, voice messages, and written communications for guests and staff.
• Adhere to department policies, procedures, and service standards.

Required profile

• Good command of English.
• Previous customer‑service experience is an asset.
• Outstanding guest‑service and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with a calm and courteous attitude toward guests.
