Retail Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Retail Operations Coordinator plays a hands‑on role in optimizing store processes across the network. Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, you will ensure that back‑of‑house operations, inventory flow, and store standards are consistently high‑performing.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Retail Operations Manager and retail management in implementing and executing all store‑related activities.
• Supervise back‑of‑house (BOH) operations, optimizing stockroom layout and space to keep the selling floor well supplied.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stores and retail partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of store systems, train staff, and support operational projects and trainings.
• Enforce store policies and procedures, ensuring consistent awareness across locations.
• Monitor stock flow from warehouse to stores, facilitate store‑to‑store transfers and returns, and ensure timely product availability.
• Assist with operational tasks for new store openings or refurbishments, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee store appearance and maintenance standards.
• Lead stock movement procedures, organize physical stock‑takes, and analyze results to reduce shrinkage.
• Manage uniform and packaging processes from ordering to distribution, ensuring cost‑effective delivery.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and the local language.
• Previous experience in retail operations, preferably in a store‑based role.
• Strong commitment to the Gucci brand and passion for the retail sector.
• Excellent analytical and numeric aptitude.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking and communication abilities.
• Proactive “get things done” mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment.
• Knowledge of sales and operational strategies.
