Retail Planner

About the role

Groupe SEB, a global cookware and small domestic appliances group, is looking for an analytical, proactive and detail-oriented Retail Planner to join its Retail team. You will support retail sales and inventory planning by managing sales forecasts, optimizing store-level stock allocation and coordinating promotional activities, working closely with retail stores, Sales and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update sales forecasts, monitor actual performance and adjust product-level plans based on targets, historical trends and promotions.
• Plan product allocation per store according to performance, sales potential and inventory levels, minimizing overstock and stockout risks.
• Monitor store stock requirements and coordinate stock transfers and replenishment with relevant teams.
• Plan product and stock needs for promotional campaigns, ensure timely availability and monitor results to find improvements.
• Act as the main contact between retail stores and Sales, resolving product, stock and campaign issues.
• Analyze sales, inventory, availability and campaign reports, compare planned versus actual results and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail product planning, sales operations or commercial analysis.
• Experience in retail planning, merchandise planning, inventory management or sales analysis.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of sales forecasting, stock allocation and inventory optimization.
• Advanced MS Excel and strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to turn data analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills; able to handle multiple priorities.
