Sales Executive - Freight Transport

About the role

A growing freight transport company is looking for a Sales Executive in Istanbul. The role focuses on building a B2B network of agents and developing new business with local clients, with a customer portfolio mainly based on sea import or air import and export.

Key responsibilities

• Actively prospect B2B network agents and develop new business with own local clients
• Manage sales and generate reports in the CRM
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensure satisfaction with the services provided and identify opportunities for account growth
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Inside Sales, Pricing and Operations
• Track performance indicators (KPIs)

Required profile

• College degree in Management, International Relations, International Trade, Logistics or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)
• Proven sales experience in the logistics and international freight forwarding sector (sea/air)
• Relevant network of contacts and good knowledge of the domestic market of importers/exporters and/or international agents
• Fluency in spoken and written English
