Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will act as the primary point of contact for guests and prospective clients, using proven sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining strong loyalty to the Marriott brand. This full‑time position supports the Sales & Marketing team in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and process guest calls, requests, reservations, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or email.
• Apply up‑selling and cross‑selling strategies to increase revenue and promote Marriott Rewards.
• Issue complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets or certificates to recognise guest patronage.
• Enter and manage Marriott Rewards information in the appropriate reservation system.
• Perform general office duties including filing, emailing, typing and faxing to support Sales & Marketing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, acting as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in sales, hospitality or guest services.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Marriott Rewards reservation system.
