Sales Manager – Petrochemicals (Turkey)

About the role

Tricon, a global leader in the trading and distribution of petrochemicals, polymers and raw materials, is looking for a Sales Manager for its petrochemicals business in Turkey. The role owns the commercial development of the product line in Turkey, driving growth in sales volume, revenue, margin and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to meet annual sales, profitability and growth targets.
• Build and expand long-term relationships with key customers, suppliers and strategic partners, and acquire new customer accounts.
• Monitor market trends, supply and demand, pricing, competitors and regulation to spot opportunities and risks.
• Negotiate annual contracts and spot transactions, manage pricing, credit and commercial risks, and coordinate with global trading, logistics, supply chain, finance and operations teams.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and business plans for the assigned product portfolio.
• Manage customer credit exposure with the finance team and support timely collection of receivables.
• Maintain sales pipelines and customer activity in the CRM and reporting systems, and provide regular market intelligence.
• Represent the company at customer visits, industry events and exhibitions, and travel extensively within Turkey and internationally.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in petrochemical, chemical or related B2B sales, with proven success in account management and hitting commercial targets.
• Fluency in both Turkish and English; willingness to travel extensively within Turkey and abroad.
