SAP SuccessFactors Expert Consultant (Employee Central)

About the role

A global team is looking for a highly motivated, solution-oriented SAP SuccessFactors Expert to join its HR technology function. This is not a traditional system administrator role: the consultant combines deep SuccessFactors expertise with project management, stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking. The role drives HR technology initiatives, optimizes processes, delivers analytics and acts as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead HR systems projects from planning through execution, managing dependencies, risks, timelines and stakeholder expectations, and providing management summaries and recommendations.
• Lead Employee Central initiatives: manage mass data uploads, data quality improvements and HR data governance; design and support integrations via Integration Center and APIs; troubleshoot complex issues; support discussions with external vendors and implementation partners.
• Design and optimize Story Reports, advise HR teams on reporting best practices, train stakeholders on reporting and data interpretation, and support advanced reporting and analytics needs.
• Partner across HR technology: support projects involving Payroll, Compensation, Goal Management and Employee Central data, and contribute to initiatives beyond standard SuccessFactors functionality, including integration, automation and SAP BTP solutions.
• Work on projects such as data migrations and mass uploads, Story Reports and advanced analytics, data quality and delta reporting, EU Pay Transparency, payroll and compensation projects, organizational structure enhancements, identity and seniority management, Fieldglass integrations, localization and language optimization, and process improvement.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Experience managing mass uploads and HR data projects.
• Knowledge of Payroll, Compensation and Goal Management processes.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and ability to work independently.
• Advanced English.
• Nice to have: SAP SuccessFactors certifications, SAP BTP experience, experience in global and matrix organizations, and knowledge of HR data governance and compliance.
