About the role
Koç University is seeking a Science Editor / Content Editor to join its Communication Office. The role involves translating complex research into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and write stories on research, publications, grants, awards and impact.
- Conduct interviews with researchers and convert technical content into accessible formats.
- Edit content for clarity, accuracy and appropriate tone across web, news, press releases and social media.
- Collaborate with visual and multimedia teams to enhance storytelling.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in science, social sciences, communications, journalism or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Strong writing, editing and interviewing abilities.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex scientific topics.
