Sea Logistics Sales Representative – Izmir

About the role

As a Sea Logistics Sales Representative you will be the front‑line partner for SME customers, promoting Kuehne+Nagel’s sea freight services and ensuring commercial success. You will work closely with the Customer Care team to generate new business, prepare quotations and manage the customer journey from onboarding to deal closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with a focus on SME customers.
• Prepare and submit quotations using the company’s online tools.
• Take pricing decisions in alignment with Customer Care Managers and Trade Management recommendations.
• Deliver presentations on sea logistics products and trade lanes.
• Monitor market competition, pricing trends and product offerings.
• Report customer complaints to the Customer Care Team and ensure proper handover of new customers.
• Maintain accurate customer data in CoreLOG and perform related CRM activities.
• Regularly review customer portfolios with CCL managers.
• Close sales deals and achieve agreed targets.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of proven field sales experience in forwarding or logistics.
• Strong negotiating and closing abilities, self‑motivated and highly organised.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and native Turkish.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Experience with CoreLOG or similar customer information systems.
