Security Manager Eastern Europe (Operational and Technical Security)

About the role

DP World is seeking a senior Security Manager to lead both operational and technical security across its Eastern Europe cluster. Based in Romania or Turkey, you will design, integrate and govern advanced security solutions while shaping security standards for ports, terminals and logistics sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture for security systems including access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, biometrics, radar and command‑and‑control platforms.
• Develop and enforce standards, specifications and compliance across all deployments.
• Own the full project lifecycle from design, proof‑of‑concept, integration, installation to handover and closure.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources to ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Oversee risk, change and quality controls for security projects.
• Coordinate with security, IT, engineering, construction, procurement, vendors and contractors.
• Lead operational security, incident management, escalation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with TAPA, ISPS, TISAX, AEO, ISO 28000 and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security system governance, databases, maintenance contracts and performance audits.
• Support investigations and intelligence analysis for theft, fraud, damage or other security events.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in both operational and technical security.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site, cross‑border security projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to act as trusted adviser.
• Experience with security standards and audit processes.
