Senior Accounting & Finance Specialist

About the role

The Senior Accounting & Finance Specialist will oversee day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end and year‑end closings, tax declarations and statutory reporting. The role supports finance operations and works closely with the Accounting & Controlling Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations in line with IFRS, company policies and local tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing processes and related financial statements.
• Prepare tax declarations and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Support budget and forecast analysis, variance monitoring and statutory reporting.
• Assist with audits, financial analysis and resolution of accounting discrepancies.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions, monitor accounts and coordinate with banking partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 5‑8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a growing corporate environment.
• CPA‑type qualification (SMMM) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS and financial reporting.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience with ERP migration, implementation or transition projects.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with other ERP programs such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Micro.
• Understanding of local tax and accounting regulations (TEKNOPARK).
