Senior Android Engineer – Remote

About the role

Mode.Inc is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join its remote Android development team. You will help build and extend a high‑traffic mobile application that powers millions of daily interactions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Take projects from planning through implementation, deployment and post‑deployment, including ad‑monetization and gamification features.
• Write high‑quality, stable, maintainable and well‑tested Kotlin code.
• Drive best practices in testing, code quality and performance, advocating unit and integration testing.
• Switch between solo work and collaborative delivery to meet tight timelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Backend teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• Motivated, knowledgeable mobile engineer with senior‑level experience.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture and modern development patterns.
• Ability to own projects end‑to‑end and make sound technical decisions.
